But taking out a Vicky's cake makes a damn good excuse to pop into Henry Congressional alone on a quiet weekday afternoon. Good enough justification for tearing ONE parking coupon as well :p

Other than the fact they served my flat white in a glass rather than a ceramic cup, I was pretty happy with my coffee. Smitten's coffee did nothing good for me at all so this cuppa was quite a pleasant surprise. Flourless chocolate cake was consumed because I don't believe in paying $4 for a slice of any kind of pandan chiffon cake. Good that my choc cake was dense and moist . Very satisfied.

By now people who are crazy about indie cafes will know Henry Congressional is just going to be around till early next year. Their interior is pretty spartan but they made it all up with this gorgeous amp.

As usual I am totally pleased with my usual take-outs at Henry Park. No doubt about it.
